I was a member
of the British Bouldering Team from 2002 to 2007 and have represented
Great Britain in World Cup events in Britain, Italy
and France, as well as international events and European
Championships. I have regularly been ranked in the top
10 in British bouldering events, including a podium
place, 3rd in the British Championships in 2003.
I started climbing aged
12, learning on the outcrops of Northumberland, which
I still regularly visit. As well as competing I spend
a large amount of time putting up new boulder problems
and repeating old ones. I have made first ascents up
to Fb 8a+ and repeated up to E8 route grade. Details

many images and video clips on these pages.
I am also one of Scarpa's
sponsored climbing team and a former member of Newcastle University's
Elite Athlete Squad which promotes athletes in full
time educations.
