I am coach for the Rock
Solid North East Climbing Team, which was founded
to get the most out of the region's juniors in local
and national indoor competitions. I work alongside Andy
Earl, one of the most respected coaches and international
athletes in the sport.
In out first year coaching
the club, we brought the national ranking for the North-East
and lakes up from 7th t0 3rd, based on results in the
British Regional Youth Climbing Series (BRYCS) final.
We also work with the
club outside to build their technical skills on rock
and have worked with community groups as well as the
club's talented young athletes.
